2010/The Year In TV

...unlike the movie list, which proved difficult to identify a Top Ten, the list for the best TV of the year was highly competitive and tough to whittle down to the ten best shows of the year...in fact, the Top Five are all essentially tied for first place, as each had such remarkable seasons it is difficult to distinguish between them...the next eleven create a second tier of still impressive work, just a notch below the first five:
